What's in a name?

Well, in the case of my blog, it's a damn fine dinner, that's what.

The quick story: I came home from work a couple weeks ago and my wife was focused on something other than making dinner. She asked if I wouldn't mind making it.

Sure...kids - how's cereal sound?

Poor reception.

So, I opened the freezer and there it was. A pound of bacon and half a bag of tater tots.

And wahlah - a fine culinary combination was born and so was the name of this site.

Which is quite apropos for what I'm envisioning this blog to be - a few odds and ends, random thoughts, etc. thrown together to create what I'm hoping is a scrumptious bit of reading. Not healthy, just quick, painless and delicious.

So please, pull up a seat, grab some ketchup, and enjoy.
